Just got back in and remembered this.

Re: WHU team VS Brighton?
I think Anderson has a freeish reign as we have been playing, as do our midfield. At Burnley 1st half, we just surrendered the middle of the park, both Rice and Noble stayed back, Anderson and Snodgrass did not cut in and so we had absolutely no midfield!

I want to to see Anderson and Snodgrass start as our two goal scorers in recent games. I think Snodgrass will be fine and up for it, just half a game at Burnley and a few days rest will see him good. Then I would put one forward, which on recent form should be Antonio if he is up for it. Looking at the rest of our midfield, Diangana is the best available and Obiang was rested for Burnley and should come back in. Noble needs to be dropped and rested and I hope does not get in. Noble can be rested for the FA cup, which should be a good level for him.

A brain transplant could, in theory, make you even more stupid surely?

Carroll?
I don't want him to get injured hopefully we'll see the back of him in this window.

‘Carroll and Arnie together would cause problems’

I don’t think so! Arnautovic would be pulling his hair out after 5 minutes because as soon as the ball hoes anywhere near Carroll the forward momentum stalls

Carroll starting a match is something I couldn’t support.

We have far better options

Anyone who advocates Carroll to start a WHU match ever again, needs a brain transplant.

Agree Diagana is always bright and i think left back is a problem area for them. Carroll has been useless for the majority of his time on the pitch last few games. Doesnt look worth a start. He is best/most effective in the last 20 mins

same for me and if Snodders hasn't recovered Diangana to run at them too,put them on the back foot

I think starting Andy will probably be more effective than bringing him on. Him and Arnie in attack would cause problems.

Snodders cn get through tonight then be rested at the weekend. Noble was absolute cack on sunday so he should be dropped

For me, Snodgrass has looked knackered in the last couple of games so I would keep Noble in there. Otherwise agreed.

When a side has a player who the opposition marks out of the game, there will be space elsewhere for them to exploit.

If they are intelligent enough to find it, the opposition will be fucked.

In other words, if they can keep Anderson quiet, the rest of the team should be "noisy"

Nice idea about Anderson. Respect to you if Pelle does it but I doubt if he will. We have to hope Anderson is a quick learner because Brighton and every side in the country are going to try and do what Burnley did to him, wherever he plays.

By the way, Cresswell was no more shit against Burnley than anyone else. He just looked bad because Anderson lost the ball every time they tried to link up.

This game will be too soon for Nasri unless he's brought on as a sub when we're 3-0 up...
